Agronomist/Owner

I was born and raised on a mixed cattle and grain farm in Southwest Manitoba where I learned the ropes of the Agriculture Industry firsthand. I have a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with a major in Agronomy and a minor in Agribusiness from the University of Saskatchewan.

I decided to start A1 Agronomy because I know that growers who are interested in maximizing the yield on their acres are looking for unbiased advice. Rather than take a blanket approach to farming, they want plans that allocate costs where they will yield positive returns in both the short and long term.

Danielle Rands

Precision Equipment Specialist & Senior Sales

After being born in Manitoba I spent my youth moving around the three prairie provinces with my family following my dad’s career in grain buying and input sales. I attended University of Regina

majoring in Economics and managed to work full time and take classes part time. I have spent a majority of my career in grain marketing and when I needed a change I got involved in AgTech and helped develop a brand new app while also providing customer support to our internal and external users and

selling the product to new users.

While my background is not in agronomy I am excited to be a part of this team because the culture within A1 Agronomy is about helping producers to meet their goals. I truly believe that the services that A1 provides help producers get there! I aim to help make the customer experience with SWAT technology more successful.

Sales & Precision Agronomy Specialist

I grew up on a mixed farm south of Melita. I graduated from Assiniboine Community College with an Agribusiness Diploma before furthering my career with companies such as Cargill and Paterson in the Elva, Pierson and Melita areas.

There are so many things you can’t control when it comes to farming. That means it is super important to control the things you can. It takes more than a “one size fits all” strategy when it comes to the decision of where to invest money to maximize yield, and I am committed to providing our customers with the valuable information they deserve to make great decisions.

Christina Boonstoppel

Precision Agronomy Specialist & Sales

I grew up on a dairy farm, moving in 2015 from New Brunswick to Grunthal, MB. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, majoring in Agronomy with Distinction from the University of Saskatchewan in 2022. I spent my summers as a student with P&H and Cargill in Manitoba and Saskatchewan, and worked full time for Nutrien in Glenboro.

Growing up in the Ag industry taught me firsthand the many variables that go into planting and growing a crop. I'm excited to be a part of the A1 Agronomy team as I believe in providing unbiased advice and want to help producers efficiently manage some of the variables that come with each growing season through the programs that A1 Agronomy offers.

Raschelle Fewings

Office Administrator

I grew up in southwestern Manitoba on a small mixed farm. I graduated from Brandon University with a Bachelor of Science degree and then worked abroad for a year in Australia before deciding to return home where much of my experience has been in the oilfield industry.

Running any business whether that be an oil company, a farm, or an agriculture business requires strong people, behind the scenes, to make the engine run. What enticed me to join A1 Agronomy, is the passion Anita and the others have for the industry, the business and for the people they serve.
